  • PGA Professional

  • Founder of Be the Nice Kid

  • Never turns down a cookie

Bryan Skavnak is the happiest golf professional in Minnesota. For nearly three decades (wow!), Bryan has been redefining what golf can feel like: smiles, laughter, and joy.

If you’re looking for a professional golfer who takes himself way too seriously, you’re in the wrong place. Bryan is on a mission to prove that you can change the world and perfect your backswing without losing your sense of humor. As a golf instructor, he’s spent years teaching people how to hit a tiny white ball, but he quickly realized the most important lessons aren't about the grip or the follow-through… they’re about the person holding the club.

When he isn’t on the range or the practice green helping someone shake off a double-bogey, Bryan is busy spreading the gospel of kindness through his Be the Nice Kid movement. What started as a simple philosophy has exploded into a global mission, reminding kids (and the adults who occasionally act like them) that being a good human is the ultimate hole-in-one.

He is the author of several books, including the #1 Best-Selling book Happy Golf Starts Here, and Be Nice. The End., which has been shared in classrooms around the world. He’s a nationally recognized coach named one of U.S. Kids Golf’s Top 50 Master Kids Teachers in the world.

Bryan’s approach to life is pretty simple: keep it light, keep it kind, and don’t take yourself too seriously. Whether he’s standing on a stage, writing his next book, or helping a student find their swing, his goal is always to leave people feeling a little more confident and a lot more joyful. He lives for those small moments, both in golf and in character, and he’s pretty sure that a well-timed joke is just as important as a well-placed putt.
